Casting Announcement!

I’m very excited to announce that the main cast for this musical has been selected! This project would be impossible without the help of a lot of wonderful people who have donated their time to it, so it’s my great pleasure to introduce you to the three of them that you’re going to become the most familiar with.

Alexandra - played by Annalise Smith

A classically-trained soprano, Annalise Smith has performed with a variety of musical-theatre companies in both Canada and the United States. Singing roles ranging from Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance to the title character in the Mystery of Edwin Drood, she most recently appeared as Mrs. Phelps in Matilda with Peter MacDonald Productions in St. Johns, NL.

Charlie - played by Harry Clarke

Harry Clarke is a young actor from St. John’s who has appeared in theatre and film in Canada and the US. After filming a few shorts, as well as the lead in the feature film On The Run, Harry made appearances in several productions filmed on the island; including Maudie, Pays, Republic of Doyle, and Hudson and Rex. In recent years, he was part of St. John’s Players production, the Maltese Bodkin, as well as Peter McDonald’s, Scrooge. His favourite performance is a three years stint hyping the crowd as Buddy the Puffin, all across the province and at the Ice Cap games, as well as helping win AHL’s Mascot of the year!

Jesse - played by Erin Enguehard

Erin's most recent stage musical theatre performances include Atlantic Light Theatre's Sister Act and Les Misérables. She is a member of Lady Cove Women's Choir, and a principal dancer with Seraka Dance Company.

Dave - played by Cullam

Bruce-Lockhart

While he spends more time gigging with rock bands these days, Cullam is an old hand on stage. Past productions include Jesus Christ Superstar, Gypsy, I Love You You’re Perfect Now Change, Godspell, Narnia, and his fondest memory: playing Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof.
